PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
According to a survey by UCE Research for the Onet portal, 49.51% of Poles believe that the far-right Confederation candidate for president, Slawomir Mentzen, has a chance of entering the second round of elections, PAP agency reported.
GOVERNMENT MEETING
During Tuesday's meeting, the Polish government will consider regulations enabling the redirection of EU funds from the National Recovery Plan for defense purposes.
DATA
On Tuesday at 0900, the statistics office will publish data on the unemployment rate for February. Analysts polled by Reuters expect it to be 5.4%, the same as in January.
DEBT
On Tuesday at 1400 the Ministry of Finance will announce bond supply for an auction on Thursday.
CD PROJEKT
On Tuesday, CD Project CDR.WA, Poland's largest computer game producer, will publish its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2024. Analysts had expected the company's profit to fall by 26% year-on-year.
ALIOR BANK
Poland's Alior Bank ALRR.WA announced on late Monday that it has approved a new strategy for the years 2025-2027, with the goal of achieving return on equity (ROE) of more than 18% by the end of 2027. The bank also disclosed plans aimed at being able to pay dividends of more than 50% of net income.
