** Shares of logistics co Gati  GATI.NS  rise as much 9.8%
to 161.9 rupees, highest since Sept. 26
    ** Co said on Friday its total volume rose 18% yoy for qtr
ended Sept, and rose 8% yoy for Sept 
    ** Co expects the momentum to continue in Oct 
    ** More than 1.2 mln shares change hands by 9:40 a.m. IST vs
30-day avg of 1 mln shares
    ** Volume above 1 mln for first time in Oct
    ** Stock up 9.4% as of 9:40 a.m. IST, extending YTD gains to
~12%
