US airline stocks fall after Air India crash

** U.S. airline stocks were lower on Thurs following the deadly Air India plane crash

** An Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner headed for London Gatwick Airport crashed just after take off in the western city of Ahmedabad, killing more than 290 people including passengers and medical college students

** Shares of U.S. carriers were mostly negative: Southwest Airlines LUV.N was down 2.2%,  United Airlines UAL.O fell 2%, American Airlines AAL.O down 1.7%,  Delta Air Lines DAL.N lost 0.8% JetBlue Airways JBLU.O is down  0.6%, Allegiant Travel ALGT.O fell 0.9%, and Frontier Group ULCC.O off ~2%

** Boeing BA.N was down ~4.5%
