Nov 20 (Reuters) - Poland's largest e-commerce company Allegro ALEP.WA on Thursday reported a 17.2% rise in its domestic third-quarter earnings, above market expectations, helped by its moves to lower delivery costs, higher advertising revenue and income from consumer lending.
Allegro's adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) were 1.04 billion zlotys ($283.5 million) in its home market, while analysts polled by the company had expected 978 million zlotys on average.
