** Shares of explorer Alligator Energy  AGE.AX  slide as
much as 19.1% to A$0.055 - set for worst day since Sept 20,
2021, if losses hold
    ** Co raises A$25.5 mln ($16.47 mln) via placement to
enhance uranium development activity 
    ** Issue price of A$0.052 per share represents a 23.5%
discount to stock's last closing price
    ** Trading volumes twice the 30-day avg of 14.8 mln shares
    ** As of last close, stock up 74.4% this year
