Pursuant to Listing Rule 5.2.8., this is to inform you that Alpha Bank A.E. (the "Company") intends to cancel the listing of its Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs") representing interests in ordinary shares on the Official List. This will result in the cancellation of trading of its GDRs on the London Stock Exchange ("LSE"). Such delisting is expected to take effect on Thursday, 4 May 2017.
Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas (the "Depositary") has already circulated a termination notice relating to the GDR programmes via the clearing systems (DTC, Euroclear and Clearstream, as applicable).

3. Reason forcancellationoflistingandtrading
The Company has decided to cancel the listing and trading of the GDRs given that their trading volume on the LSE is significantly low compared to the Company's total market capitalisation.
The Company trusts that such delisting would cause no substantial inconvenience to its Shareholders and Investors.
4. Scheduleofcancellationoflistingandtrading
The cancellation of listing and trading of GDRs on the Professional Securities Market ("PSM") of the LSE shall be effective from Thursday, 4 May 2017 (the "Delisting Date").
From that date forward, holders of GDRs will no longer be able to trade their GDRs on the PSM of the LSE.The GDRs will not be listed or traded anywhere else after the Delisting Date.
5. Regulated Investment Exchange on which the Company's securities are traded
Following the cancellation of listing and trading of the GDRs, the Company's shares will continue to be traded in Greece on the Athens Exchange and its American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") will continue to be traded over-the-counter in the United States of America.
