Alpha Tau Medical rises on long-term data for its cancer therapy
** Shares of Israel based co Alpha Tau Medical Ltd DRTS.O
rise 14.17% to $4.11 premarket
** Co announces initial long-term data for its cancer
therapy Alpha DaRT in patients with types of head and neck or
skin tumors
** Between February 2017 and December 2022, 81 lesions in 71
patients were treated with Alpha DaRT in four prospective
feasibility trials - co
** Adds 89% of treated lesions showed complete response to
the treatment while 10% had a partial response and one patient
was not evaluable
** These results bode well for the data readout from the
U.S. pivotal ReSTART trial- H.C. Wainwright
** Brokerage expects the study to complete enrollment in Q1
2024
** Up to last close, stock up ~13%
