    Vertex to acquire Alpine Immune Sciences for $4.9 bln

    April 10 (Reuters) - Vertex Pharmaceuticals  VRTX.O 
will acquire Alpine Immune Sciences  ALPN.O  for $65 per share,
or about $4.9 billion in cash, the companies said on Wednesday.
