    ** Co says a study published in Neurotherapeutics journal
showed that its lead drug limited nerve cell death from

    ** Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that causes
unintended or uncontrollable movements, such as shaking,
stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination
    ** The study found that co's drug, ATH434, prevented a loss
of smell in the younger mice and rescued it in older mice
    ** More than 122,266 shares change hands, more than 5x the
stock's 25-day average trading volume 
    ** Stock lost more than half its value last year
