Australia's Alterity Therapeutics rise on grant of Phase 2 approval from UK Body

** Shares of the Australian drug developer  ATH.AX  gain as
much as 5.3% to A$0.02, heading for best session since April 1,
if gains hold  
    ** Alterity says United Kingdom Medicines & Healthcare
products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) accepted co's clinical trial
authorisation (CTA) request 
    ** Clinical trial to conduct its Phase 2 clinical trial for
ATH434 in Multiple System Atrophy (MAS), which is a rare and
highly debilitating Parkinsonian disorder 
    ** More than 7.7 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 1.9 mln shares
    ** Stock has fallen 9.5% this year, as of last close
