Appointment of Non-Executive Chairman
and
Directorate Change
Altitude Group Plc (AIM: ALT), the leading end-to-end solutions provider for
branded merchandise, is pleased to announce that Alexander Brennan has been
appointed as independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with immediate
effect.
In consideration of increasing commitments and opportunities from other
directorships, David Smith, having completed his term as the Altitude
Chairman, has decided to step down from his role as Chairman and Board
Director, with effect from Alexander's appointment as the new Chairman. The
Board understand the reasons for David's decision and wish to thank him for
his valuable contribution to the Group during his term and wish him well in
his future endeavours.
As the current Interim Chairman of Big Technologies plc, Alexander brings
relevant experience chairing a plc board. In addition, Alexander has two
decades' experience of delivering growth for businesses in the UK and
internationally, both as principal and as an advisor, with particular
experience in the technology sector. He was previously an Executive Director
at Symphony Environmental Technologies plc. Alexander founded Brennan &
Partners in 2016, a UK-headquartered consultancy, providing business
development advisory services for UK and international clients. Prior to
this, he worked at De La Rue Plc for five years, focusing on B2G and B2B sales
across Europe and the Americas. Alexander began his career at Slaughter
and May where he practised as a corporate and M&A lawyer for six years.
