Altria up on upbeat quarterly results fueled by nicotine pouch demand

** Shares of tobacco giant Altria MO.N up 2.3% at $60.73

** Co's Q2 revenue, net of excise taxes, rose 0.2% to $5.29 billion, above analysts' estimate of a 1.8% decline to $5.18 billion - data compiled by LSEG

** Q2 adjusted EPS of $1.44 per share beat estimates of $1.39

** Quarterly results were helped by demand for its on! nicotine pouch, shipment volume of which rose 26.5%, compared to a 13.7% increase a year ago

** Co also raised lower end of annual profit forecast, now sees annual adjusted EPS between $5.35 and $5.45 vs. previous expectations of $5.30 to $5.45

** Up to last close, stock has risen 16% YTD
