India's Alufluoride soars most in nearly 22 mths on qtrly profit surge

** Shares of aluminium fluoride maker Alufluoride Ltd
ALUF.BO rise as much as 18.1% to 314.30 rupees, their biggest
intraday pct gain since Jan. 1, 2021
** ALUF on Friday reported a near 3X jump in Sept.-qtr
profit to 29.9 mln Indian rupees ($362,688.02), led by higher
revenue and core earnings
** Revenue from operations rose 82.7% to 358.6 mln rupees
from a year ago
** Sept-qtr profit before tax was at 396.2 mln rupees from
122.6 mln rupees a year ago
** Stock at highest since Apr. 25, set to snap two sessions
of losses
** More than 103,000 shares traded at 0923 GMT, 8.2X their
30-day moving avg of 12,694 shares
** Up to last close, ALUF shares were down 18.3% YTD
($1 = 82.4400 Indian rupees)
