Change of auditor
The Alumasc Group plc ("the Company") announces that, as advised in the Company's Annual Report for 30 June 2018, there has been a competitive tender process for appointment as the Company's auditor, led by the Audit Committee. As a result of this process, the Board has approved the proposed appointment of BDO LLP ("BDO") as the Company's auditor.
KPMG LLP ("KPMG") have been the auditors for The Alumasc Group plc for ten years since 2008 and the Company's Board of Directors extends its appreciation to KPMG for their services. KPMG has resigned as the Company's auditor and has confirmed to the Company that there are no matters connected with it ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company for the purposes of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.
