Change of Auditor

The Alumasc Group plc ("the Company") announces that following a competitive
tender process led by the Audit Committee the Board has approved the proposed
appointment of Crowe UK LLP as the Company's auditor. This appointment will be
recommended for approval by shareholders at the 2022 Annual General Meeting.

BDO LLP ("BDO") have been the auditor for The Alumasc Group plc since 2018 and
the Company's Board of Directors extends its appreciation to BDO for their
services. BDO has resigned as the Company's auditor and has confirmed to the
Company that there are no matters connected with ceasing to hold office that
need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company
for the purposes of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.

The Company is today writing to shareholders to confirm the above.  A copy of
the letter will shortly be made available on the Company's website
