the carrier's hours-long disruption on Thursday that knocked out
service to subscribers nationwide.
- U.S. aluminium producer Alcoa AA.N on Monday made a $2.2
billion all-stock buyout proposal for its Australian joint
venture partner Alumina AWC.AX .
- Chinese carmaker BYD 002594.SZ said its chairman and
chief executive, Wang Chuanfu, has proposed doubling the amount
of A-shares under a proposed buyback to 400 million yuan ($55.6
million).
