ALX Oncology rises on positive initial data from blood cancer drug trial

** Shares of  ALX Oncology Holdings Inc  ALXO.O  up 9.8% at
$11.81 
    ** Co says investigational drug found active and well
tolerated in initial data from early-stage combination study in
patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a type of blood
cancer 
    ** 4 out of 10 patients with relapsed AML achieved response
to the treatment while all 3 patients with newly diagnosed AML
showed response -ALXO  
    ** Complete response was reported in 1 of the 3 patients
with newly diagnosed AML -ALXO
    ** Stock down 44.4% YTD
