Brief: AMAG Austria Metall: Alouette smelter agrees new terms and conditions for electricity supply

Sept 10 (Reuters) - AMAG Austria Metall AG AMAV.VI :
* Owners of Alouette smelter, in which AMAG holds a 20 pct
interest, and Government of Canadian province of Québec have
agreed on improved terms and conditions for existing electricity
contracts
* Electricity price for an available power of 965 MW will
depend on market price for aluminium and will be effective in
period from 2017 to 2029
* This new regulation will significantly improve risk
profile of AMAG
