The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq dropped on Monday, as the surging popularity of a
low-cost Chinese artificial intelligence model knocked shares of chipmaker
Nvidia and other companies benefiting from investments into the technology.  .N 
    
At 1330 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.16% at
44,496.58.The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.98% at 5,980.38, and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 3.55% at 19,244.96.
