U.S. stocks rose on Friday after a better-than-expected jobs report calmed worries about the economy, while Tesla rebounded from a sharp plunge a day earlier and technology stocks continued to rise.  .N

At  11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.87% at 42,684.29.The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.93% at 5,994.61, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.11% at 19,513.39.
