U.S. stocks rose on Friday after a better-than-expected jobs report calmed worries about the economy, while Tesla rebounded from a sharp plunge a day earlier and technology stocks continued to rise. .N

At 13:34 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.81% at 42,663.28. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.92% at 5,993.84, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.21% at 19,531.74.
