Investment and Management Co AIV.N up 5.7% at $9.73 in early
trade
** Bloomberg reports that activist investor Jonathan Litt
has met with management and is exploring a sale of the company

** Litt's Land & Buildings Investment Management, which owns
a stake of under 5% in AIV, believes there is a large pool of
potential buyers for the company, the Bloomberg report says
** Up to Thursday's close, AIV shares were up ~19% YTD
