U.S. stocks opened higher on Tuesday on signs of easing tensions in the Korean
Peninsula and mounting pressure against potentially damaging metals tariffs
proposed by President Donald Trump.  .N 
    At 9:51 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.07 percent at
24,892.45. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.11 percent at 2,724.04 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.38 percent at 7,358.697.
