Wall Street was poised for a firm start on Monday as investors prepared for a wave of earnings from corporate majors and a long-awaited inflation report, which could shake up markets later in the week.  .N

At  11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.83% at 46,568.94.The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.01% at 6,731.03, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.39% at 22,995.63.
