Wall Street indexes fell on Wednesday, pressured by a report the U.S. could curb
sales of artificial intelligence (AI) chips to China, while Federal Reserve
Chair Jerome Powell stuck to a hawkish tone that investors were largely
anticipating.  .N 
    
    At 11:34 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.28% at
33,832.65. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.02% at 4,379.08 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.37% at 13,606.256.
