** Shares of power technology firm American Superconductor
 AMSC.O  jump 16.7% to $11.38 premarket
    ** Reports Q3 net loss of 3 cents/shr compared to a loss of
34 cents/shr a year prior
    ** AMSC reports Q3 rev of $39.40 mln vs $23.90 mln a year
ago, driven by increased shipments of new energy power systems
and electrical control systems
    ** AMSC had a stellar 2023, rising over 200% in value, but
is down over 23% YTD as of last close
