U.S. stocks declined on Monday, with the S&P 500 hitting a two-month low as bond
yields surged following strong payroll data last week, reinforcing bets that the
Federal Reserve will maintain a hawkish stance through most of the year.  .N 
    
At 13:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.59% at 42,184.49.
The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.15% at 5,817.95, and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC 
was down 0.75% at 19,017.81.
