Dutch miner AMG rises to 11-month high on Q1 beat, outlook hike

** Shares in AMG Critical Materials AMG.AS jump around 14% to their highest since mid-June 2024 after the company reported "strong" Q1 core profit beat and hiked its guidance

** The company said on Wednesday its Q1 adjusted EBITDA came in at $58 million, and it raised its 2025 outlook for the metric to at least $170 million from $150 million

** "AMG's first quarter results are a strong... beat driven by continued strength of its AMG Technologies business, aided by elevated antimony prices," says ING in a note

** Up to Wednesday's close the stock was up 20% YTD
