Australia's AML3D slides on discounted placement

** Shares of AML3D AL3.AX fall as much as 13% to A$0.2,
hitting their lowest since Nov. 11
** Industrial tech and manufacturing firm receives firm
commitments to raise A$30 mln ($19.53 mln) via a placement
** Placement issue price at A$0.19, a 17.4% discount to
stock's last closing price
** Co says funds will be used to double its manufacturing
capacity in the U.S.
** More than 529,000 shares change hands, 2.1 times the
30-day avg volume of about 246,000 shares
** Stock up 122.9% YTD as of 0010 GMT
