** Shares in ams OSRAM AMS.S rise 6.1% in Swiss pre-market trade after semiconductor manufacturer sells non-optical analog/mixed-signal sensor business to Infineon IFXGn.DE for EUR 570 million ($674.14 million)
** In total, asset sales under ams OSRAM's deleveraging plan will generate proceeds of EUR 670 million, reducing pro-forma leverage ratio from 3.3 to 2.5, the company says
** "The valuation on the divested assets is much better than we had previously anticipated, and as a result will be more supportive of the deleveraging plan," J.P. Morgan says
** While shares will still have to contend with mechanical downgrades, and concerns around underlying margins, the balance sheet risk reduces meaningfully, the broker says
** The stock is top performer of Swiss mid-cap index .SMIM
