Corrects to Tuesday from Monday in second bullet point

** Shares of Analog Devices ADI.O rise 3.7% to $430 premarket

** The chipmaker said after markets closed on Tuesday that it would acquire Empower Semiconductor for about $1.5 billion in cash

** The companies said the deal would help advance power delivery for AI and other compute-intensive applications, for which power bottlenecks can be limiting

** The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026

** 11 out of 35 analysts rate the stock "buy" or higher, 19 rate it "hold", five "sell"; median PT at $405 - data compiled by LSEG

** As of last close, ADI stock up 52.7% YTD
