SALARIES
High inflation is putting pressure on Polish employers to
raise salaries as a lack of employees continues to weigh on the
economy, particularly in the IT and construction sectors,
reports Polish daily Rzeczpospolita.
STATE OF EMERGENCY
Poland is preparing to extend its state of emergency,
currently set to end on Oct. 1, along the border with Belarus, a
source inside the Prime Minister's Office told Polish daily
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
The state of emergency on Poland's border with Belarus
should only be lifted once the wave of migrants is under
control, according to 53% of respondents to an IBRiS survey,
reports Polish daily Rzeczpospolita, while 36% said it should be
lifted as soon as possible.
ANSWEAR
E-store Answear ANRP.WA has begun sales in Greece and will
soon expand in Croatia as well, eventually looking to enter most
Central and Eastern European markets, reports Polish business
daily Puls Biznesu.
