Grant of Options under the AO Sharesave Scheme
Notification of transactions by directors/persons discharging managerial responsibilities
AO World plc ("AO" or "the Company") announces that on 25 January 2018 the Company granted options ("Options") over 2,290,455 ordinary shares of 0.25p each ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to the AO Sharesave Scheme 2018.
The Options have a contract start date of 1 March 2018 and are exercisable between 1 March 2021 and 30 August 2021. The exercise price, which was set in accordance with HM Revenue & Customs rules for sharesave plans, is 89 pence per Ordinary Share. The allocation of share options was made available to UK employees with at least three months' service to the Group (including the Executive Directors and PDMRs) and amounts to 0.5% of the Company's current issued share capital. The exercise of options on maturity is not dependent upon performance criteria.
