** Shares of Guernsey-based investment company Apax Global Alpha APAX.L up 16% at 160.3p

** Stock on track to record biggest intraday pct gain since March 2020

** London-based private equity firm Apax Partners to acquire co for about 916.5 million euros ($1.07 billion) or 1.90 euros in cash for each scheme share

** Apax's offer price represents nearly 19% premium over the last closing share price on Friday

** Including session gains, APAX up 13.6% YTD
