India's Apollo Hospitals beats Q2 profit view on strong healthcare services demand

India's Apollo Hospitals Enterprise APLH.NS topped
second-quarter profit expectations on Wednesday, driven by
higher demand for its healthcare services.
The hospital chain operator's consolidated net profit
surged 62.6% year-on-year to 3.79 billion rupees ($45 million)
in the quarter ended Sept. 30, beating analysts' average
estimates of 3.64 billion rupees, as per data compiled by LSEG.
