** Shares of Apollo Micro Systems APLL.NS rise as much as 17% to a record high of 240.40 rupees

** Defence co declared lowest bidder for orders worth 251.2 million rupees ($2.9 million) from Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and other public sector companies

** More than 61 million shares traded, 12.5 times their 30-day avg

** Stock set to rise for a sixth straight session, gaining 26.5% in the period

** APLL has jumped 104% so far in 2025
