Appian dips after wider quarterly net loss

** Shares of Appian Corp  APPN.O  down 14% in extended trade
after the company reported third-quarter results on Thursday 
    ** Co reports wider quarterly net loss of $43.99 million, or
61 cents per share, up from $25.38 million, or 36 cents per
share, a year earlier  
    ** Says total revenue was $117.9 million, up 28% from a year
earlier
    ** We have a plan to reduce losses to 10% of revenue by the
second half of 2023 - CEO Matt Calkins
    ** Up to Thursday's close, stock had fallen 27.5% YTD
