September 17 (Reuters) - The major US stock indexes jumped on Thursday as a pullback in oil prices boosted sentiment, with the Federal Reserve's first rate hike under Chair Kevin Warsh reassuring investors of the central bank's commitment to tackling inflation.  .N
     
At  11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.53% at 51,732.09. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.00% at 7,627.31, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.54% at 26,378.15.
