** Aptinyx Inc's shares  APTX.O  fall 35% to 39 cents -
among the biggest pct losers across all U.S. stock exchanges
premarket 
    ** APTX experimental drug to treat chronic pain did not meet
the main goal of a mid-stage study  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nBw4htMcja
    ** The drug, NYX-2925, when compared to placebo was not
statistically significant in reducing pain in patients with
fibromyalgia, a disorder that causes muscular pain 
    ** Stock has fallen nearly 50% since early April, when
NYX-2925 failed to meet the main goal of a separate trial

    ** Up to Thursday's close, stock was down ~78% YTD
