$5.54m Fynapse New Contract Win
Fynapse selected by major Canadian financial services group to support launch of new regulated bank
Aptitude (LSE:APTD), a market-leading provider of AI-native Finance ERP software, is pleased to announce a new Fynapse contract win with a leading Canadian financial services group managing over C$100 billion in assets and serving millions of Canadians across investing, wealth management, and mortgages.
The three-year contract has a total software value of USD $5.54m (£4.2m) adding to the Group's ARR base, with revenue recognition expected to commence this month.
Fynapse will support both the customer's existing finance and accounting operations and the launch of its new banking subsidiary, one of a small number of new entrants permitted to operate as a regulated bank in Canada.
Fynapse was selected as the only solution that combined a modern, AI-native subledger with the financial services expertise required by a regulated institution. The opportunity was sourced through one of the Big-4 advisory firms, an Aptitude partner, reflecting the growing role of Aptitude's partner network in bringing Fynapse to market, in line with the Group's partner-first sales and implementation model. Whilst Fynapse delivers the controls, audit lineage, real time profitability and regulatory credibility the customer needs, implementation by Aptitude's partner will be delivered in a handful of months without compromising on the regulatory rigor required.
Fynapse's AI-ready architecture ensures every new product offered by the customer as it scales will be supported by the same governed, real-time financial foundation from day one, even as the regulatory environment evolves, removing the complexity that typically constrains finance function at scale and enabling the customer to harness AI across its finance operations as the business grows.
Alex Curran, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"This significant contract win demonstrates continued positive market traction for Fynapse, underpinned by the structural shift towards AI-driven, real-time finance platforms and the strength of our growing partner network. To be selected at such a pivotal milestone in the customer's growth journey reflects Fynpase's proven ability to rapidly deliver modern finance architectures for some of the world's most ambitious organisations."
