U.S. stocks index futures edged higher Friday on hopes that Beijing and
Washington were making headway to resolve their trade dispute, but gains were
kept in check as investors awaited March payrolls data.  .N 
    At 7:14 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.11 percent at 26,416. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were up 0.14 percent at 2,886.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1 
were up 0.19 percent at 7,575.75.
