Thursday:
    
        ** Visa  V.N  has agreed to buy Featurespace, a
developer of real-time artificial intelligence payments

        ** Privately held oil and gas producer Validus Energy
has struck a deal to buy rival Citizen Energy for more than $2
billion, including debt, according to people familiar with the

agreed to sell its stake in its large liquid crystal display

    ** Australian fund manager Platinum Asset Management
 PTM.AX  rejected a takeover offer from hedge fund Regal

had ruled in favour of Nippon Steel's  5401.T  $14.9 billion
