Oct 8 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes edged higher on Wednesday following a brief interruption in a steady rally, as investors awaited fresh clues on the interest-rate trajectory. .N

At  13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.29% at 46,738.86.The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.58% at 6,753.55, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.92% at 22,996.44.
