PARIS, April 29 (Reuters) - The French government is not considering nationalising the French sites of steelmaker ArcelorMittal MT.LU, currently facing job cuts, and will instead focus on getting new investment for them, the industry minister said on Tuesday.
"It is not on the agenda for now," Marc Ferracci told RTL Radio when asked if nationalisation was an option.
Ferracci said the government would meet Arcelor executives at the finance ministry later on Tuesday, to see what could be done to avoid a closure of the sites.
