September 16 (Reuters) - The Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 edged higher following a two-day slide, as lower oil prices offered some relief during a tense wait for the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision on Wednesday. .N

At  1130 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.05% at 52,066.80. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.39% at 7,615.54, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.80% at 26,189.39.
