Ardelyx up on resubmission of marketing application for kidney disease drug

** Shares of Ardelyx Inc  ARDX.O  rise 3% to $5.07 premarket
    ** Drugmaker says it has resubmitted marketing application for its experimental kidney
disease drug, tenapanor, to the U.S. FDA 
    ** Confirmation of resubmission of application is expected from FDA in mid-May - ARDX 
    ** In December last year, FDA granted co's appeal for the agency to review the drug again 
    ** Advisers to the regulator had voted for approval of the drug in November, more than a
year after it was initially rejected 
    ** Stock up ~73% YTD, as of last close
