** Shares of biotechnology co Argenica Therapeutics rise as
much as 5.3% to A$0.395  AGN.AX , marking their best day since
Sept. 16
    ** Co teams up with clinical trials facility Linear Clinical
Research to initiate preliminary work on Phase 1 clinical trial
of its ARG-007   urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN2QV133
    ** The ARG-007 is a therapeutic to reduce brain tissue death
after stroke 
    ** Perth-based Linear has a 29,000 volunteer database for
phase 1 trial recruitment - AGN
    ** 160,000 shares have changed hands, vs 30-day average of
about 490,000 shares 
    ** Stock up 38.9% since June debut, as of Wednesday's close
