Appointment of Company Secretary

Arix Bioscience plc ("Arix" or the "Company") a global venture capital company
focused on investing in and building breakthrough biotech companies, today
announces the appointment of Derringtons Limited as Company Secretary with
immediate effect. Derringtons will take over the role from the company's CEO
and General Counsel, Robert Lyne, who consequently will relinquish his
additional responsibilities as Company Secretary to focus on the core
operations of the business.

Derringtons are a team of qualified Company Secretaries, with over 30 years of
combined experience who deliver professional company secretarial services and
provide independent governance advice to both private and listed companies and
who have extensive experience in supporting listed investment trusts and
operating companies.
