Wall Street's main indexes slipped on Tuesday ahead of the Federal Reserve's
policy meeting, with investors awaiting grocery delivery app Instacart's Nasdaq
debut to assess a potential recovery in the IPO market.  .N 
    
    At 11:30 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.66% at
34,396.82. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.63% at 4,425.38 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.80% at 13,600.373.
