Wall Street's main indexes were on track for a higher open on Tuesday as President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, calming investor nerves after the 12-day conflict hurt global risk assets and fanned inflation concerns. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.96% at 42,989.25. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.94% at 6,081.95, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.36% at 19,898.63.
